The problem of the continuity of global attractors under minimal assumptions for a general class of parameterized delay differential equations is considered. The theory of equi-attraction developed by Li and Kloeden in [2004a] is adapted to this framework, so it is proved that the continuity of the attractors with respect to the parameter is...

We prove existence of a global attractor A(λ) under minimal assumptions for a general class of parameterized delay differential equations without uniqueness and posed in potentially different state spaces. Secondly, we establish the upper semicontinuity of the attractors with respect to the parameter λ.

In this paper, the existence of weak solutions is established for a phase-field model of thermal alloys supplemented with Dirichlet boundary conditions. After that, the existence of global attractors for the associated multi-valued dynamical systems is proved, and the relationship among these sets is established. Finally, we provide a more...

The existence of pullback exponential attractors for a nonautonomous semilinear parabolic equation with dynamical boundary condition is proved when the timedependent forcing terms are translation bounded or even grow exponentially in the past and in the future.

For an abstract dynamical system, we establish, under minimal assumptions, the existence of D-attractor, i.e. a pullback attractor for a given class D of families of time varying subsets of the phase space. We relate this concept with the usual attractor of fixed bounded sets, pointing out its usefulness in order to ensure the existence of this...

In a 1997 paper, Ball defined a generalised semiflow as a means to consider the solutions of equations without (or not known to possess) the property of uniqueness. In particular he used this to show that the 3D Navier–Stokes equations have a global attractor provided that all weak solutions are continuous from (0, ∞) into L2. In this paper we...

We obtain a result of existence of solutions to the 2D-Navier-Stokes model with delays, when the forcing term containing the delay is sub-linear and only continuous. As a consequence of the continuity assumption the uniqueness of solutions does not hold in general. We use then the theory of multi-valued dynamical system to establish the...

Negatively invariant compact sets of autonomous and nonautonomous dynamical systems on a metric space, the latter formulated in terms of processes, are shown to contain a strictly invariant set and hence entire solutions. For completeness the positively invariant case is also considered. Both discrete and continuous time systems are considered....

Some results related to stochastic differential equations with reflecting boundary conditions (SDER) are obtained. Existence and uniqueness of strong solution is ensured under the relaxation on the drift coefficient (instead of the Lipschitz character, a monotonicity condition is supposed).

A probabilistic representation of the solution (in the viscosity sense) of a quasi-linear parabolic PDE system with non-lipschitz terms and a Neumann boundary condition is given via a fully coupled forward-backward stochastic differential equation with a reflecting term in the forward equation. The extension of previous results consists on the...

Under appropriate regularity conditions it is shown that the continuous dependence of the global attractors \mathcal{A}_\tau of semi dynamical systems S^{(\tau)}(t) in C([-\tau,0];Z) with Z a Banach space and time delay \tau \in [T_*,T^*], where T_* > 0, is equivalent to the equi-attraction of the attractors. Examples and counter examples posed...

We prove the existence of tempered and nontempered pullback attractors for two dimensional Navier–Stokes equations on unbounded domains satisfying Poincaré inequality, for the case in which a forcing term involving memory effects appears. Our proof uses an energy method and is valid for the autonomous and nonautonomous cases.
