We present a convenient way for a user to deal with SPIRE photometer and spectometer pipeline scripts. The UI displays the list of tasks defined into a script. The user can choose tasks to be executed, parametrize them and set breakpoints during the pipeline execution. Results can be displayed and saved in FITS and VOTable formats.

Herschel is a satellite mission led by ESA and involving an international consortium of countries. The HCSS is in charge of the data processing pipeline. This pipeline is written in Jython and includes java classes. We present a convenient way for a user to deal with SPIRE photometer and spectrometer pipeline scripts. The provided Graphical...

July 2020 (v1)Journal articleThe AMBRE Project: Spectrum normalisation influence on Mg abundances in the metal-rich Galactic disc
Context. The abundance of α-elements provides an important fossil signature in Galactic archaeology to trace the chemical evolution of the different disc populations. High-precision chemical abundances are crucial to improving our understanding of the chemodynamical properties present in the Galaxy. However, deriving precise abundance...

Aims: The homogeneous spectroscopic determination of the stellar parameters is a mandatory step for transit detections from space. Knowledge of which population the planet hosting stars belong to places constraints on the formation and evolution of exoplanetary systems. Methods: We used the FLAMES/GIRAFFE multi-fiber instrument at ESO to...

Context. Studies of the correlation between different diffuse interstellar bands (DIBs) are important for exploring their origins. However, the Gaia-RVS spectral window between 846 and 870 nm contains few DIBs, the strong DIB at 862 nm being the only convincingly confirmed one. Aims: Here we attempt to confirm the existence of a broad DIB...
