I protagonisti del discorso politico ufficiale della Restaurazione francese

Description

The essay examines the political and ideological struggle between "ultraroyalistes" and "royalistes moderées" or "costitutionnels", interpreted an subject wheel by the "docrinaires", during the first years of French Restoration. From this conflict, which takes place within the context of the rules contained in the "Charte" of 1814, it arises an "official political discourse" that pragmatically converges on representative institutions and prepare the successive parliamentarism. The "ultraroyalistes" adapt themselves to a system that grants a strong parliamentary representation, defending the Parliament rights, while the "party" of moderates - that contains the future liberals - support royal prerogative and the Government, from which the administrative and imperial leadership come, and have a great influence. This is a political discourse not yet gone into depth by the historians, who prefer to highhlight the revolutionary opposition that lead to the 1820-1821 risings and the reactionary nature of the Restoration.
