Abstract
Reports related to the study published under the title "Unveiling protective mechanisms of wild olive (wild olive tree) oil in retinal pigment epithelial cells with hypertensive phenotype". This study was funded thanks to the project of the state plan PID2019-109002RB-I00 and the Junta de Andalucía ProyExcel_00516. In both projects, the beneficial properties of wild olive oil at the retinal level are described. Specifically, these data refer to the antioxidant properties of extracellular vesicles obtained from the plasma of animals treated with diets enriched in wild olive oil and their effect on retinal pigment epithelium cells subjected to a hypertensive phenotype. Dataset generated were collected between 2021 and 2024, part of which is the result of research stays abroad in collaboration with the Karolinska Institutet.Additional details
