Biological degradation of phenol in a one-stage biofilter using different Pseudomonas strains

Description
A laboratory scaled set-up, consisting in a glass column, filled with a mixture of peat and glass beads and inoculated with a pure culture of Pseudomonas putida, has been employed as biological filter in this study to purify a waste gas contaminated with variable phenol concentrations.
