Bases para el diseño de sistemas programadores intermedios de contingencias de reforzamiento

There are nowadays two fundamental types of equipments to program the contingencies of reinforcement: Closed equipments and open ones. The formers, with the great advantage of simplicity and the great disadvantage of limitation, implicitly have the functional combinations which are permanent in every schedule of reinforcement or, on the other hand, are shared by several of them; however, they don't let the researcher generate very specific combinations. The open systems involve the construction of all the functions, although they are very common, in every occasion and for every program, since they don't half prevent the permanent functions. In this research, we plead for the creation of intermediate systems which have the permanent and shared functions by several programmes preprogrammed, and which --at he the same time-- give us the possibility of preparing very specific contingencies.. This way facilitates the standard work as in the closed equipments and provides the creation of schedules, even when they are very complicated, with a smaller number of external connections than the open equipments.

Abstract

Existen actualmente dos tipos fundamentales de equipos para programar las contingencias de reforzamiento: Equipos cerrados y equipos abiertos. Los primeros, con la gran ventaja de la sencillez y la desventaja de la limitación, tienen previstas las combinaciones funcionales que son permanentes en todos los programas de reforzamiento o bien son compartidas por varios de ellos; sin embargo, no permiten que el investigador genere combinaciones de gran especificidad. Los sistemas abiertos suponen la construcción en cada ocasión --y para cada programa-- de todas las funciones, aunque sean muy comunes, ya que no prevén siquiera las funciones permanentes. En el presente trabajo se aboga por la creación de sistemas intermedios caracterizados por tener preprogramadas las funciones permanentes y las compartidas por varios programa y que --a la vez-- permiten preparar contingencias muy específicas. Esta línea facilita el trabajo estándar como en los equipos cerrados y permite la creación de programas --por complicados que estos sean-- con un número de conexiones exteriores muy inferior a los equipos abiertos.
