Results on the reconstruction of scattering objects using a semi-analytical formulation of the equivalent electromagnetic source when limited aperture data are available

Description
This paper deals with the problem of the reconstruction of scattering objects illuminated by electromagnetic sources, when only limited-angle data are available. By starting from a previously developed semi-analytical method that in principle would require the knowledge of the scattered data over a circular domain, using some window functions, only a partial view of data is considered. Both numerical and experimental data are used to investigate and discuss the effects of limited aperture data.
