Description
This paper describes a linear combination of Spherical Vector Wave Expansion (SVWE) and Singularity expansion methods (SEM) to compress the radiation pattern of ultrawideband antennas and its application to Through-The-Wall (TTW) measurements. This process is applied and compared between simulated and experimental data in free space and in TTW context. This work, based on 3D near-field measurements, can provide a compact and precise model of UWB antenna radiation pattern that can be useful for microwave imaging algorithms.},
