Description

Mathematica (v. 11.0.0.0) code for a solution of the 8x8 matrix for optical pumping with linear polarization for the D2 transition in Rb-87, Fg=2->Fg=2, in the absence of an external magnetic field. In order to avoid optical depumping to Fg=1, repumping light on the transition Fg=1->Fe=2 has been added.
