A High-Linearity Design for Rail-to-Rail Fully Differential Current Conveyors
Contributors
Description
Second-generation current conveyors (CCII) provide flexible building blocks for current-mode circuits. This paper discusses a novel design for the CMOS realization of a rail-to-rail fully differential CCII (FDCCII). The FDCCII is eventually obtained by suitably combining two instances of a four-terminal block, which in practice implements a differential voltage CCII. The simulations show that the proposed design effectively addresses the major issues that affect state-of-the-art implementations of FDCCII: limitations in the dynamic range and unsatisfactory linearity of the input-output relationship.
