Description

The "Latin American University Network of Housing Departments" gathers together lecturers and students from a variety of countries of the region interested in enhancing their actions through reflection on common issues, and tend to improve training in social production and management of habitat in diverse university courses. To this end, the "L a tin American University Network of Housing Departments" meets annually, this occasion being an excellent opportunity to debate pr e- viously determined specific issues. The following report illustrates the activities, contents and conclusions of the "XVI Meeting of the Latin American University Network of Housing Departments " held in Mont e video, Uruguay, in October 2010, titled Academic Innovation in Tr aining for Social Management of Habitat.

Abstract

La Red Universitaria Latinoamericana de Cátedras de Vivienda reúne a docentes y est udiantes de diversos países de la región interesados en potenciar su accionar a través de la reflexión sobre temas comunes, tendiendo a mejorar la fo r- mación en la producción y gestión social del hábitat en diversas carreras. Con este fin, anualmente se rea lizan encue n- tros de cátedras de vivienda, oportunidad en que se debate sobre temas específicos previamente determinados. El pr e- sente informe ilustra sobre las actividades, contenidos y conclusiones del XVI Encuentro realizado en Montevideo, Ur u- guay, en oc tubre de 2010, la Innovación Académica en la Formación para la Gestión Social del Hábitat.
