Description
A new non-planar Vivaldi antenna is presented as a three-dimensional structure in the shape of a fleur-de-lis. This new balanced antenna is unique in its extremely flat S/sub 11/ response, minimizing phase distortion over a wide band from 2.2 to 21 GHz. The S/sub 11/ response of the new antenna is compared with the original planar Vivaldi antenna developed at the LEAT.
