Xylitol recovery by crystallization from synthetic solutions and fermented hemicellulose hydrolyzates

Preliminary xylitol separation tests were carried out using solutions with relativity high concentrations of xylose and xylitol to simulate the actual composition of hemicellulose hydrolyzates.
