Description

The paper analyses Augustine's Sermon dedicated to the martyr Laurence. Troughthe comment of liturgical readings for the dies natalis Laurentii, Augustine polemizes against the detractors of Cyprian. By recalling the extraordinary virtue of Laurance's charity, Augustine exhorts Christians to the unity and to the love of the Church.
