Severe foetomaternal haemorrhage. A clinical case of placental chorionangioma

Description

In this survey we will report a case of placental chorionangioma causing severe foetomaternal haemorrhage. The diagnosis of foetomaternal transplacental haemorrhage is not easy to make, since the value of foetal anemia is not precisely known; yet, non-stress test, oxytocin contraction test and fluximetry might be helpful. Since we know that foetus perinatal mortality is about 30%, we believe that the only therapy for this pathology is delivery to be induced after the foetal pulmonary maturity.
