Description
Mathematica (v. 11.0.0.0) code for a solution of the 5x5 matrix for optical pumping with circularly polarized (sigma+) light for the D2 transition in Rb-87, Fg=2->Fe=3 line, in the absence of an external magnetic field. The light polarization is contaminated by components of (sigma-) and (pi) polarizations. More generally, the code can be used as a case with a general mixture of sigma+, pi, and sigma-.
