Description
In this paper, the design of a 3D printed Dielectric resonator for S-Band application is studied. A dual-band structure is targeted in order to support uplink and downlink satellite communication. A partial filling of some specific part of the DRA is used to optimize the antenna input impedance. The designed DRA exhibit a compact dimension of 0.25 0.250.1 wavelength with a 5dBi realized gain.
