Description
Finite Difference Time domain techniques have some interesting features for simulating Very Low Frequency (VLF) antennas in realistic environments. Such multi-scale problems can be solved by using an arbitrary oriented thin wire model. For the Transmission Line Matrix (TLM) method, the definition of the interaction domain that links the wire model to the surrounding Cartesian mesh is a critical issue that is addressed in this paper.
