Aprender geometría aplicada en el siglo XXI: realidad y contexto
Description
Since the early nineties until these days, the amount of contributions about the benefits of CAD systems in the development of the Descriptive Geometry has significantly increased. The reasons why these innovations should be assumed have never been clearly expressed, and if they were, they were not understood at all. In any case, the current situation differs far away from the one in the nineties. Because of that the authors of this paper point out that a deep analysis and recapitulation of the current conditions on the subject should be made. This new frame pressurizes the traditional methods of learning descriptive geometry and justifies a necessary revision of the discipline itself, especially applied to the new undergraduate degrees courses. The goal of this paper is to study this situation from four different contexts, one of each presenting several requirements and expectations from the field of Descriptive Geometry in Bachelor degrees.
