Chemical criteria for equilibria forecasts: Promethium alloying behaviour as an example

On the basis of the similarities in the alloying behaviours of the different rare earths, the constitutional properties of a few selected promethium alloys are here estimated. Phase diagrams, crystal structures (and lattice parameters) are proposed for the binary alloys of Pm with Mn, Fe, Cu, Ag, Au, Ga, In and Tl. © 1990.
