Pretreatment operations and alcohol fermentation of orange wastes

Description

The airn of this work is the treatrnent of orange wastes coming frorn agricultiire activities of food industries. A set of batch alcohol ferrnentations of these residues has been done using different pretreatrnent operations devoted to process optirnization, arnong which filtration appears to assure, at the sarne time, the best fermentation rates and energy savings.
