The text investigates the area of coinage emissions of Southem Iberia from the point of view of the influence that was possibly exerted from those who came from Italy for an unknown period of time or tose who settled permanently. Studied the characteristics of those coins— typology, methology, use, and especially, production areas and circulation— a certain amount of influence may be detected in those coinage emissions but, if it is not definate, it does hold interest in order to improve our knowledge of the social relationships between the inhabitants of Hispania and the recení newcomers.
