Description
We analyze the relationship between the location of the historic archaeological sites and the environmental and landscape features of the Isle Crémieu (northern Isere, France). This study is based on a data processing serie (archaeological surveys, palaeo-landscapes reconstructions, spatial statistics under GIS), which guides archaeological research in progress and shows the need for permanent communication between the laboratories and the field study to verify and to supply the models.
